FSU's offense has no one on the first team that is younger than a True Junior of which they only have 1, all the rest are 4 year juniors or RS seniors. Their second team is not much better. Prior the portal losses they only had two sophomores and one freshmen listed. Now they have a second freshman listed there. Their defense is not as bad but quite similar with heavier losses coming from graduation and portal departures. They have 4 3rd year sophomores on the two deep and two freshmen.

Ira Schoffel(Warchant) tweeted "What I worry about is College Coaches deciding its not worth time and effort to work with developmental players. Guys who have natural ability but need a couple of years in weight room or intense hands-on coaching before they can contribute" This seems quite rich coming from Transfer Central.

They have created a culture where they want to outrecruit guys they said they would develop but didn't with experienced guys someone else developed. That dog only hunts when you escape the injury bug as they finally got hit with. FSU showed the nation you can almost buy your way a playoff appearance so they will have to dig deeper to get the #1 prospects on offense and defense or they will take a big step backward.
