SCAR lost 3 times in a 5 game span last year after leading by 13+ in the 4th quarter. My first question is whether or not that's some kind of record? Surely no other school has blown 13+ point 4th qtr leads 3 times in a 5 game span. There's just no way. I doubt any other schools have done it 3 times in a season, much less in a 5 game span.
My second question is whether or not Clemson has ever blown a 13+ point 4th qtr lead? I'm sure it's happened at some point but I can't think of any in the past 40 years or so. I may have just blocked it out of my mind. The 3 games that come closest that I can remember are the GT game in 2004 but I think that we just lost a couple of 10 point leads in that 4th qtr; the UGA game in 1985 but again, I think that was just a 10 point lead; same with the ND game in 1977.
