The police state is already here, it isn't "coming". Isn't your article proof enough? Think about what the article actually states vs. what you have seen for yourself.

If "public authority" has the right, albeit from some arbitrary "law", to contradict the Constitution and there is nothing done to overthrow this contradictory law, it is up to the people to demand its either overturned or thrown out.
