So, I recently tore a tendon in my left pec during a workout (a "full-thickness tear of the sternal head of the pectoralis major tendon near the myotendinous junction" to be exact) and I had surgery yesterday morning to repair it. Being an active guy and very passionate about weightlifting, this is obviously a devastating experience and I could use some encouragement and support.
Has anyone here ever torn their pec? What was your recovery experience like? How long did it take you to get back to weight training? Any recommendations, tips, or tricks you'd suggest to help with my recovery and rehab? Thanks in advance!
