Which committed guys should we be calling

I know it's not a huge priority of ours to call committed guys but which DE recruits committed elsewhere should we be going after?

I looked at UF, FSU, UNC and Auburn for DE and they don't seem to have any real studs committed either. They have people so that's a start but just curious if anyone has seem someone play that we should be calling because their committed school is a dumpster fire like those listed above.

Alabama-Georgia SEC showdown draws massive audience ratings

Alabama-Georgia SEC showdown draws massive audience ratings

By: Associated Press

Alabama's 41-34 victory over Georgia on Saturday night averaged 12 million viewers on ABC and ESPN's streaming platforms, according to Nielsen.

It was the most-watched regular-season prime-time game since 2017, when Alabama-Florida State on the season's opening weekend averaged 12.3 million. Saturday's Alabama-Georgia matchup was also ESPN's most-streamed regular-season game.

Nielsen reported the audience peaked at 14.1 million from 11:15-11:30 p.m. ET, when Alabama was holding off a second-half rally by Georgia. The Crimson Tide's Ryan Williams caught a 75-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Milroe with 2:18 remaining, and Georgia was driving for a potential game-tying touchdown before Zabien Brown intercepted Carson Beck's pass in the end zone.

The win vaulted Alabama from No. 4 to No. 1 in the AP Top 25, while Georgia dropped from second to fifth.

This is the first year ESPN and ABC have the entire Southeastern Conference football package.

P&C Clemson blasted for holding football game in aftermath of Helene. University now cancels classes.

I was glad we had football. Stressed the city but was a welcome distraction for me and my clan. There’s no right decision here. Every solution has consequences. But cancelling school after is not a good look.

*** Projected BOX SCORE *** CLEMSON @ FSU ***

I wasn't going to even mess with this this year, too busy - but here I am succumbing to curiosity....

The spreadsheet lines up pretty evenly with the Vegas prediction here. Let's call it a 34-17 CLEMSON win.

A bit disappointed with where the defense is landing so far, particularly our rushing defense - the first time in a while we've had a NEGATIVE defensive bonus - I know, I know, a lot of that is in garbage time. But still... let's raise our level on that side of the ball.

This is the first time since I've done box scores that Clemson defenses have allowed opponents to score ABOVE their average points per game. Not great. Not good.

I'll also say that the simulations have us LOSING to a wide range of teams, both in the ACC and nationally... Our dud against Georgia is hurting our projection results, so the further we get away from that and the more good performances we can put up the better.

Georgia, who put up 34 points on us, only averages 27 points per game (vs FBS schools). Even with scoring only 3 against UGA, our offense is putting up 42 ppg which is impressive - just need the defense to perform.

Charlotte to Knoxville drive

I set a meeting in Knoxville for tomorrow afternoon a couple weeks back. It’s a time sensitive meeting plus doesn’t seem like road situation is going to improve that quickly. It also needs to be on site so Zoom doesn’t work.

Is there a passable way to get through Western NC to Knoxville area from Charlotte? Or am I better off taking 77 NB up to VA and coming back down 81 to avoid that area altogether?

US O&G Production

This is tremendous news for everyone, not just in the US, but across the globe. US fracking technology has increased tremendously over the years, and if this keeps up we will be able to counter the OPEC+ cartel's stranglehold on the market. This coupled with LNG and RNG booming, and them being easily replicable in the US, is a great sign for future US energy independence and growth.

There's also tons of R&D being pushed by O&G companies in Louisiana/southern Arkansas regarding extracting lithium from drill cuttings and wastewater generated at drilling wells. This could also be a great boon for the future of US O&G production, but it's still a ways out.
