Team has not improved since GA game. Easy schedule

was the facade. Team has;
1) No identity on offense
2) QB is a rattled mess vs decent defenses
3) No speed at RB
4) WRs cannot get open or get schemed to be open.
5) Defense is not physical
6) No pass rush
7) No idea how to seal the edge
8) No speed on D
9) LBs are average at best
10) No depth
11) Special teams is still a trainwreck. The opponents’ specialists every week are better.
12) No recognition by head coach that the program has been on steady decline for 4 years.
13) Head coach has put together a staff that is the envy of nobody., especially coordinators.

This is going to get much uglier unless Dabo has a major overhaul in his thinking.

Dabo needs to adapt or leave

Dabo was great in the old college football but those days are gone.

He needs to come out and say I was wrong and go hard to the portal or just rode off in the sunset.

This team is pure shit and have been bad all year. They have played exactly one team with a pulse and got embarrassed.

You can’t go ahead and bank on several players leaving after this year. Coaches are already trying to do damage control.

My 2AM two cents…

Dabo can get pissed at position coaches for missed assignments, pissed at the coordinators for game plans, but at the end of the day nothing changes until he adapts. This game starts with Jimmy’s and Joe’s and those guys get paid now. Either figure out a way or ride off into the sunset. Sure I’d hate for that to happen because it’s been a great decade, but we’re closer to 2008 than we are 2018.

*****THE CLEMSON DUBCAST: Garrett Riley and Wes Goodwin

We present the full, uncut audio from the recent media sit-downs by Garrett Riley and Wes Goodwin.

Riley discusses Year 2 in his role as offensive coordinator at Clemson after last year didn't go according to plan, with the offense frequently succumbing to self-impaling turnovers, erratic quarterback play, lack of cohesion at receiver and inconsistent offensive line play.

Goodwin, who rebounded in 2023 after a difficult first season filling the shoes of Brent Venables, looks to have the defense at an elite level thanks largely to a defensive front that could rank among the nation's best.

Clemson opens the season Aug. 31 against Georgia in Atlanta. The Tigers open preseason camp Aug. 1.
