One of the last few '15 offers 6-6 wing Kipper Nichols' season came to an end tonight. Kipper scored 20 pts and had 9 Rebs as his team St Edward lost in the OH 1 Division semifinal round to Huber Heights Wayne in overtime 57-51. Nichols this week was named the Division 1, top level in Ohio, player of the year. Paul says Clemson's staff will not make a hard push. Archie Miller for Dayton and Butler's Chris Holtmann were in Columbus tonight to see Nichols play. Still feel this is a mistake. Butler, Dayton, and Xavier who also has offered Nichols are three programs that Clemson can recruit similar to and compete successfully in the ACC. Oliver Purnell coming from Dayton proved that in his first four or five recruiting classes at Clemson. Oh well, lets see where Nichols ends up with his season over.
