First to admit SEC has assembled a great basketball conference this year but imagine if it all came down to 1 team (or 2) as it was when ACC often had 4 or 5 of top 10 teams in the country.
Have to win ACC tournament to advance. My guess is with todays format the ACC would have double the number of national championships
Imagine if only 1 or 2 teams could advance (Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, A&M, Kentucky, Ole Miss) as the ACC did when Duke, NC State, UVA,Maryland, UNC, Wake, and later GT we’re all great teams
