2023 RB commited to USuC??? Caleb Hampton

I believe racial profiling is a direct result of crime statistics over the years. Im not saying its right but its human nature to lump people together based on commonalities such as race. People of color cant commit violent crimes at a much higher rate than white people despite being 13% of the total population and not expect to be scrutinized more than anyone else. It sucks but its reality. Its time to hold people accountable for their actions and they need to understand if you fight a man with a gun, you will probably die.

I have seen kids with fathers in the home act crazy and I've seen kids with sorry parents make good. There are always exceptions but the majority of kids with a strong father figure in their lives won't be swept up in a life of crime and the gang culture. Discipline goes a long way towards shaping the young mind and teaches them to respect authority. I firmly believe we dont have a cop problem, we have a criminal problem and a no respect for the law problem. Noone is out hunting black people in a system that is purposefully trying to hold black Americans down. I know way too many honest, hardworking, successful black men and women for that to be true. Unfortunately they are referred to as Uncle Toms and coons by some of their peers, which is another discussion entirely.

You began this with “I Believe”, thus the problem, not statistical diagnosis! We can make statistics say whatever we desire & unfortunately have done such to justify negative actions of people! To say Blacks are committing a majority of violent crimes, something I do not believe, does that make it alright to take away or abuse all? If this is fine in your world, I say this is not the America We Believe In. Also, for the White Americans that have your way of thinking please explain why Bernie Madoff was able to do what he did as long as he did without being profiled! Or better yet, Please explain why Dylan Roof was taken to Burger King when caught & not shot, killed or bleeding!

Now I Too know many, many hard working successful Black, White etc Americans! Please tell me why “You” Believe “We” Are Called Uncle Toms & other Racist Terms? Please read Uncle Tom’s Cabin & then you will know, as Successful & Hardworking Blacks Do; Being Called Uncle Tom “Is A Compliment”! May I recommend You Listen & Speak with some of those Successful, Hardworking Black People for a Realistic Discussion!

I’m sure mr Hampton would be glad to discuss if you disagree with him. Being from a single parent home doesn’t define you. You are and example of that as is dabo. No doubt in my mind, it gives boys a better opportunity if they have a father in the home modeling how to be a man, how to work, how to shake hands, how to treat a woman, how to respect authority, and how to be a husband.

but there are millions of examples of kids that overcame odds and millions of examples of kids that turned out to be “not so good “ with great parents.

- if you don’t believe the “nuclear family” is God designed and is the best option for kids, we will just respectfully disagree and move along with a Leslie neilson nothing to see here meme

1. I Do Not Disagree With Not Do I Have A Problem With Mr. Hampton, None!
2. I Do Not Disagree With God Designed Family Between A Man & Woman!

Now, Let Us Review; Our discussion was focused on BLM & Those with An Agenda To Grind! I support BLM 100%!

Also, I know of many Single Parent Home Lead By Black Men!

I’m pretty sure I answered your question with a quote from their mission statement, copied and pasted

I have a problem with doing away with the nuclear family as a part of the mission statement, comrade

Yes, you posted a paragraph from the website & Created Your Narrative! I am not going to repost my beliefs but stand by BLM & it’s mission & that does not include getting rid of the nuclear family!

How in the world did y’all get this thread moved to the round table???? Lolololol

No shit. Unbelievable.

To everyone here, I just want you know that you're my brother, and I love you. There are things that I think BLM should get in front of, but I'm a caucasian, so now is not the time for me to interject.

Hopefully there'll come a time and place where we can have an honest, open conversation.

In the meantime, I hope we can identify and celebrate our commonalities, instead of constantly driving the wedge between us.

We're in this together.

Really where did You Hear Or Read Such... FYI, I Love His Letter, Hope & Pray The Best For His Family & Yes, BLM!

If you study Critical Race Theory you will gain some insight into the philosophical underpinnings of the BLM movement. The concept is supportable as it is deplorable that any life would be deemed insignificant whether it be an unborn child or a black person. However the objectives of the movement are in fact and at least in part as stated.

Will you Please allow me to rephrase your opening sentence, thank you:

You: Sir are you aware or have studied Critical Race Theory As denounced by White Nationals, Tucker Carlson & Chris Rufo?
Me: Yes I Am!
You: Your thoughts?
Me: Well My Good Man, thank you for the opportunity! In grad school & as part of My Thesis, various Psychological, Statistical & Philosophical Theories Were Employed! As I am sure you are aware, We created a subject ie BLM! Then we developed an objective using various theories & statistical data ie CRT, Horney, Jung etc to promote BLM evil, racist, absent fathers etc...to meet those objectives! Once this was completed then discussion & promoting those theories were argued!

Now, please allow me, in the simplest of terms to:
1. I support BLM & their objectives 100%!
2. CRT, many aspects I support, including Race, Right/Wrong/Indifferent plays A Major Role in All Areas Of Our Society!
3. For anyone to Say they are Pro Life, please explain how you are Not Anti-execution + BLM + Police Life Matter + Gun Violence +....
4. For anyone that believes in America, please explain how you do not Stand on the Preamble That, All Men Are Created Equal & etc...

In the wake of LeBron James and many NBA players speaking up against systemic racism and police brutality against Blacks, there has been a lot of talk about the fears of Black men in America. James made a statement last week, sharing his fear as a Black father, that Black people in America “are terrified.”

‘WE ARE SCARED AS BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA. BLACK MEN, BLACK WOMEN, BLACK KIDS, WE ARE TERRIFIED,’ LOS ANGELES LAKERS BASKETBALL STAR LEBRON JAMES SAID AFTER SUNDAY’S POLICE SHOOTING OF JACOB BLAKE PIC.TWITTER.COM/2REEOYRPP6

— REUTERS (@REUTERS) AUGUST 25, 2020

In response to James’ position, a Black father penned an open letter to the Los Angeles Lakers player. The man, Patrick D. Hampton, also a Trump supporter, posted a letter on his Facebook page and advises James to “stop blaming the police and help build better fathers.”

The full letter is below:

Dear LeBron James,

You don’t speak for me and my boys.

I’m a father of four brown boys. It is my responsibility as a father to protect and serve them. There is no need for police in my home because as the father, I’m the authority in my home.

Police are needed where fathers and law and order are absent. When there is no father to protect and serve children, police have to move into that community to protect and serve.

Where there is no father or authority in the home or neighborhood, young men rebel. This is why police is having a hard time gaining compliance with fatherless boys on the side of the road. They refuse to sit down, be quiet, and comply. Why? Because the police are the first men to tell them NO and assert their authority. These boys have spent years under no ones authority. This is the main problem.

#AcceptingAuthority

So please don’t speak for me and my boys. Me and my boys are not terrified of the police because we respect the police and accept their authority. That’s because they first had to respect me as their father and accept my authority. Actually one of them want to be a police officer.

We are terrified of the black men that kill each other in their black neighborhoods everyday. We are afraid of the black men that threaten us and call us cūns and uncle toms for desiring to live a peacefull and successful life. We are aware of the fact that 93% of all black homicides are by black men. (Justice Bureau of Statistics)

If you really want to help fatherless boys like yourself, stop using fear tactics and guilt trips. Help promote legislation like “EQUAL SHARED PARENTING” that helps divorced dads and single dad have more time with their children without paying more child support.

Help get legislation passed to make child support more fair and equal. Fund programs like my #GoodGuys #GoodGirlst that help young black youth save sex until marriage, respect police, develop work ethic and accomplish their goals.( https://youtu.be/1ZxCe3JXp3M ).

Stop blaming the police and help build better fathers. Stop saying police need more training and train more dads and young black boys on the the rule of law and police protocols.

Remember, there are millions of black and brown boys out here that are not being killed by police. They are alive and doing quite well. How? We obey the law. Comply with police and if the police does something wrong or unethical, they live to fight in court and not the side of the road.

Signed,
Patrick D. Hampton

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR SONS

But the chance of it happening goes up when you are in bad places at bad times. There is less chance of being in a bad place if you have been raised right. Nothing is guaranteed, I know, as I am raising three kids myself. They don't always do the right thing.

I am not attacking you btw. I appreciate your words here and your efforts to improve our communities. I believe that BLM has some merit, but I cannot agree with some of the heinous acts that are being carried out in their name. Just like not all republicans are hateful white supremacists, I know not all BLM activists are bad people. But in this time of divisiveness and hate, I wish all of us were on the same team.
Classic victim blaming aka : she shouldn't have been wearing that dress. She was asking for it.
Discounting BLM because of rioters and now discounting them because black people shouldn't have been standing there. smh.
I get what you are saying about personal accountability, wheres the police union accountability? Why are police HIDING their disciplinary history so no one can research and root out the 'bad apples'?
I'd love to pay the police more and make it tougher to be one.

I think its cool this guy takes a strong stance and devotes himself in love to his family. That said this guy is basically saying resisting arrest is a death sentence, which is absolutely insane.

False. I’m not blaming any victims. I’m talking probabilities and statistics. The facts are that the probability of running into the law goes up if you grow up in a fatherless home (or a Godless home for that matter imho). The probability does not go to zero, no matter how good of parents one has. That’s all I said and it is accurate. Get out of your feelings and read what I said without adding your biases to it.
