Today is the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the NFL Draft. Barring any shocking developments, I think we can say that everyone from Clemson has declared. In addition, the spring portal entry window will open back up in a few months, running from April 15th-April 30th. I'd be surprised if we had more than a handful of guys enter, as we had just one player (Malcolm Greene) enter the portal in 2022 and 2023 combined between 01/15 and 09/01.
With Clemson not expected to sign anyone else on 02/07, I thought it might be a good time to look at scholarship player attrition vs. gain over the past 365 days and ask - Did we get better?

* It nets out to -3, but keep in mind that M. Greene and Dudley leaving freed up two scholarships. One of those went to H. Greene, so he is being counted twice. We were at 85 this time last year, at 84 right now (or 84 and 83 if you don't count Casperson).
EDIT: Added in Jayln Phillips.
