In my view, WR is the most important position in the 2024 class. I’d like to see our offer sheet triple over the next month as I think we simply have to have a good class. To that end, below are my top 15 WRs - my WR board if you will. My priorities: toughness, speed, catching with hands, variety of size/skills/where they line up, and regional proximity. You’ll see a heavy dose of TX (hoping Riley can help keep and even grow that pipeline), but mostly east coast and some midwest. But nothing out west. Thoughts? Additions? Subtractions?
Dreylon Miller | TX - perfect size of WR we are looking for. Reminds me of my prospect crush last cycle: Johntay Cook. He’s shifty, 6-1/6-2 so can play all over. Looks like a jamaar chase type (not as good), but in that mold. WR1 on my board.
Terrance Moore | FL - for our “bigger WR” take, I like him a lot more than Taylor. Granted, so does everyone else. He’s blowing up. And for good reason. Ultra smooth, tall, but isn’t limited to only sideline fades. Fast for his size. Did I say smooth?
Mylan Graham | IN - another slightly taller kid, but he’s fast and he’s quick for his size. Good hands and tough. Not just a boundary WR, goes up and gets it and not afraid to catch the ball in traffic over the middle.
Zy’marion Lang | FL - another taller WR…dude needs an offer today! Can run, catches with his hands, good over the shoulder hands as well. Like this guy a lot! Always like Florida talent (assuming they aren’t simply bag chasing). He feels a little under the radar to me right now so I’d be showing him love.
Jeremiah McClellan | MO - fast, mean, big bodied but overly large that it affects his quickness. Really like this cat. Think he could grow into a really solid and sturdy college WR.
Nicholas Marsh | MI - love his frame and again, think he’s in that “modern” mold of WR. Not elite speed but plenty fast. High points the ball and is tough. Doesn’t hurt that he’s from Ruke’s high school either.
Chance Robinson | FL - probably silly to list a kid from Thomas Aquinas, but he’s a stud. Another of those guys that are 6-1/6-2 that I’d be beating the doors down to land…we need more “mid sized” guys. Highly sought after so perhaps a pipe dream, but you miss all the shots you don’t take, right?
Jonathan Paylor | NC - as the slot guy, would LOVE to land this dude. We know him pretty well by now but strong, fast, very much in that Amari frame in that he could play RB, but bigger than Amari. (No Jr highlights out yet).
Jaylan Hornsby | NJ - bit of a taller guy, with room to fill out, but he high points well, tracks the ball well. Largely a boundary guy but he isn’t afraid to go over the middle. Plus athleticism and plays with an edge.
Zion Kearney | TX - again, a mid sized guy who has some girth to him but remains fast. Quick out of his breaks, tough, good hands.
Brandon Rehmann | PA - fast, quick twitch but in a slightly larger frame. Willing blocker, and seems as though he could play all over.
Dae’Vonn Hall | NE - nice mid sized WR with decent speed and decent hands. Works though trash pretty well and (are you sensing a theme) appears to be tough.
Freddie Dubose | TX - coming off an ACL which is unfortunate so no junior highlights. But he’s lean, tall, and moved well prior to injury.

Keylen Adams | VA - cut from AW0 cloth. On the more lean side, but I like that he’s from VA. I think we need to try to recruit VA to potentially avoid going toe to toe with UGA rn. Jmo. But I like him as a slot.

Alex Taylor | NC - I’ve never been high on him. I see a Deondre Overton. Idk I just think he’s the type of WR Jeff Scott may have been able to mold a bit, but haven’t we seen enough of that? He seems to be a one trick pony to me. Better than some of the tales last cycle, but if we’re dreaming….
