3/25 60 Minutes tailgate menu

Great one in Senoma, it’s called Hwy 51. No poppers, but good wine.

I’ve been making those armadillo eggs for a few years now. Delicious! I cut them in half or thirds to go further.
I was watching Diner, Drive Ins, and Dives the other day and Guy hit up a place that served these as appetizers. I looked around and found a few different recipes. The place Guy was visiting was in Texas and the cook actually used smoked brisket to stuff the pepper. That looked great but seems a tad bit much work and money to do something so simple. Also when I do these I am thinking about wrapping the sausage in bacon as well.

I wonder how it'll go. I hope it's reveals more than we already know.

I honestly doubt there is anything jaw dropping that is revealed in this interview that would surprise anyone. That said, anyone that doesn't already realize this President has a significant problem with the truth and has done a lot of immoral things by this point can't be helped. I knew that before he ran for President. For that reason, I doubt there is anything that moves the needle with his base. But I know I will be tuning in.

It's just sad that as a country we have to be continually embarrassed and humiliated by the President on a weekly basis with one thing after another. I just can't wait for the day that this circus is over.

The sad thing is that collectively as a country our hate outweighs our like. In other words when you speak about Moving the needle in a base, it will only come from “the other side” moving toward their interests and demands. The more polarizing the characters that get paraded about as leaders, the more hate will drive the outcome.

Was wondering why this thread got moved. I apparently missed their efight

Most on here know that I'm certainly no fan of Trump, but I'm not sure what the big deal here is. I honestly don't care if he banged some porn star (just like I didn't care if Clinton banged an intern). I did care a great deal that Clinton lied about banging said intern and thought that he should have been kicked out of office for it. Kind of the same thing here. I've got a bit of a hangup on employees lying to their bosses. So IMHO, the President can certainly refuse to answer questions based on national security issues, but he or she should NEVER be excused for directly lying to American citizens.

Obviously, most here don't share my views.

Campaign funds were allegedly used. The alleged email from Cohen: VP of the trump campaign or something to that effect is how the NDA was disclosed to Stormy.

Yep, I get that, thus my reason for bringing up the lying part (although I didn't articulate it). Trump has repeatedly denied having the affair (just as Clinton did). The legal ramifications of lying are what is/did bite them (not the lying itself). In Clinton's case, he lied under oath. Trump has not (yet) done that, but if the affair is true and his lawyer paid the porn star off without getting paid back, that's a hell of a campaign violation... So I understand why he'd lie about it, but that doesn't make it right.

What tickles me are the current Trump supporters (especially the "Christian" ones... and I use the term very loosely) who were all up in arms about the immorality of the Clinton affair and now are going to be defending Trump for essentially doing the same thing. I wish I cared enough to go back and look at Foxnew's coverage of the Clinton affair. I'm sure there was plenty of moralizing. They either won't cover Trump's problems at all, or will say it doesn't have anything to do with his job as President.

Case in point is their coverage of North Korea. Trump is going to meet directly with North Korea to talk w/o putting any restrictions on the meeting. FoxNews has gone over the top in praising him for doing it. (FWIW, I think Trump has done a masterful job of dealing with North Korea). However, when Obama was planning on doing the EXACT SAME THING, they were all over him for being weak for being willing to talk to Korea.

To be fair though, there's plenty of that sort of thing on the other side of the aisle (and media) as well. I just don't see how anyone can call themselves anything but a party shill if they think like this...
