Two years ago, a total blowhard at Barstools created a sensation when he said Clemson and FSU were in talks with the SEC and suggested something was imminent.
Now the same blowhard is causing a similar stir by "reporting" and I quote: "Scoop City has received a serious rumor that the Big Ten will add Washington, Oregon, FSU and Clemson this week."
The same guy then reported a major "update" that ... and I can't type this without laughing ... "Clemson's locker room has not been told about this potential move."
Folks, I get it: This stuff is irresistible to a lot of you. And zero problems whatsoever if you're joining the frenzy and lapping up what this guy is saying.
And I should also point out: Behind the scenes all this stuff is quite active, as it should be when one domino (Colorado) drops and others could be on the way.
But just going to reiterate: Consider the source. He does this not because he's informed, but because he wants attention in the form of follows.
