Obamas faultAre we still blaming the Russians or the cops? I'm confused
Pardon my 'left lane' question, but....didn't JV do a pretty GD good job in Minnesota?
Ummm...no.
His approval rating was around 40% when he got out after only one term (although he decided not to run, he didn't lose, but he probably would have). It did get up to 70% for a short time, but that was more due to his celebrity and being anti-establishment.
He barely won when he ran for governor, and by winning, it wasn't a statement of Minnesota wanting him, he won because the other two candidates were horrible.
He had very good judicial appointments, which helped his term some. The legislature hated him (which I suppose you could say was a good thing).
He spent more time promoting his books and other publicity stunts instead of doing his job as governor. He had no clue when it came to the budget, and almost made things up.
That being said, I liked him. He gave the finger to the media, kept religion out of politics, hated both parties, he supported the legalization of prostitution and marijuna, he was against teacher unions and tax dollars for secondary education.....so I agreed with him on many things.
You start with 'ummm...no', but go on to barely walk the line as to him being good or bad.
I'll go ahead and TL;DR this....and i'll stay in the left lane. Oh...I'm from the South too...so...just go around me.

I gave you that facts that he sucked and they didn't like him.
I just said I agreed with some of his positions that are kind of out there, but he was right on.
He probably would fare well today in the anti-establishment/populist era.
This is one of the greatest and most mind bottling videos of all-time...Corch Irving Meyers
This is the first time I've seen this. I'm not sure what to think or how to take it. Wow.
I wonder how long the liberals will kick and scream about every decision before they get tired or it falls on deaf ears?
I'm thinking about one year.
Pretzel logic!!!So Franken won his seat in a recount by around 300 votes. Later it was estimated that there were probably 800 or so illegal votes cast in that election. Franken was also the senator that cast the deciding vote on Obama care.
If those illegal votes had not been allowed then Obama care would not have become law. Franken is a cheating liberal.

Probably as long as the teabaggers complained about Obama. Libs will probably use correct spelling and grammer in their signs tho
I was always partial to this version of Corrine go gata.....but then again she WAS my congresswoman
Without Franken's vote it would not have passed.Ben Nelson was the deciding vote...the Nebraska senator who Reid bribed him with a Medicare exemption....of course Bernie Sanders, Leahy, Carl Levine, etc all got bribes too.
Without a lot of votes it wouldn't have passed. It takes more than one vote.Without Franken's vote it would not have passed.
