Has anyone heard about construction at the former Ramada Inn (now known as University Inn & Conference Center) in Clemson? A group of us all booked rooms there and we got the note today from one of our buddies parents in regards to the hotel:
Random occurrence of events...I told my parents where we were staying and they had heard the hotel had just started a major renovation. They're down in Clemson now and went over there this morning to see what the status was. They said its pretty beat up with all of the construction and that none of the rooms had a/c, the ceilings were all cut up and moldy where they're re-doing the wiring, and they only had rooms with 1 bed. they said they wouldn't recommend staying there in its current condition so they went to the Comfort Inn across the street and booked a room at a discount since they just had a cancellation.
