I admit I almost never understand how the thinking works in the NBA partly because I am always really slanted toward younger players in my own evaluations of things. The NBA values established guys in a way I can't imagine. But I have to say, seeing a 35 year-old KD traded for three contributing players plus 4 unprotected 1st round picks seems extreme. Can someone who knows help me understand why that might be a good move for the Suns?
