a poor season upcoming by the Gamecocks? I have a couple buddies who are full of optimism this season and i just don't see it, considering how they finished last year.
1 buddy predicts they win the East, lose championship game and go to a New Years Day bowl.
2nd buddy stated they should have been a 9-3 (blown games vs Mizzo, UT and Kentucky) team last year and considering how their defense can't be any worse than last season, he's predicting 9-3 or 8-4.
I just don't see it. I know most fans tend to drink the Kool Aid during the off season and fall camp, but i don't see how in the world they are going to win the East this season and i definitely don't see a 9-3 type season considering the schedule they have in front of them.
