He points out something that I've never really noticed: Why are college basketball teams who wear some type of blue color usually better? And why are blue teams not as good in football? I brushed off the question as irrelevant but he looked up the top 25 for both sports over the past few years and it actually is a surprising difference. Just this year alone, 15 of the top 25 basketball teams wear some type of blue color and examining previous years show a similar trend. Football on the other hand this past year, there were only 5 teams in the top 25 with a blue type color. Surely it's mostly a coincidence, but you can't help but ask if there is some sort of aesthetic advantage to wearing blue in basketball.
