Posted on the Rivals hoops recruiting message board this question to their evaluator Eric Bossi the other day:
let me ask about Clemson recruiting. What is your opinion on Scott Spencer who you broke into the top 150 In your last update?
Also, Clemson's top targets on their board are #61 De'Riante Jenkins and #112 Jordan Bruner. How much potential does Bruner have if he stays healthy?
What are the chances of Clemson landing these two prospects?
Also, no doubt this would be Brad Brownell's best class to date at Clemson, but would this 3-man class be ranked in your 2016 top 25 class rankings? Thanks.
Interesting answers today:
"I think SPencer is a smooth wing scorer. I think his jump shooting travels with him from high school to the ACC and he has good size for a two (which I think is his ultimate future though he may be more of a SF right now) along with good athleticism. Clean up the handle and add some strength and I think you have a guy who could eventually be a first option on offense for Clemson.
Bruner also has to get stronger along with healthy. Has some bounce to him, some touch to 15 feet and a nice basketball frame to carry more weight and not lose agility.
I need to check on how good a chance Clemson has with those guys. Jenkins seems to be kind of all over the board and with Bruner if he doesn't want to go the high academic route I think they have a good shot. It would certainly be a class with a chance to be top 25-30 depending on who else goes where."
--Some good stuff. Hope we can get those final two to cement this class.
