Just had a customer with a box of rapid tests that every test in the box they used was a positive result. Same people tested with same brand from a different box…everyone who tested positive from other box tested negative with the new box of test
PCR tests and testing positive right out of wrapper without even swabbing anyone. This shot is out of control
I'm curious to see if this is a concerted effort by the schools/coaches to push back on the transfer rules. These bowls start losing bigtime $$$ and there will be pressure to make changes. Or the bowl system falls altogether. What say you @Cris_Ard ?

CFP Committee already announced that COVID will result in a forfeit and loss.
- Playoff Semifinals (Cotton and Orange Bowls) if one team is unavailable to play – The unavailable team shall forfeit the game and its opponent would advance to the national championship game.
- Playoff Semifinals (Cotton and Orange Bowls) if both teams are unavailable to play in one semifinal – The semifinal game would be declared "no contest" and the team winning the other semifinal game would be declared the CFP National Champion.
- Playoff Semifinals (Cotton and Orange Bowls) if three teams are unavailable to play – The semifinal game in which two teams are unable to play would be declared "no contest." In the other semifinal game, the team unable to play shall forfeit the game and its opponent would be declared CFP National Champion.
- CFP National Championship – If the team's unavailability is determined after the Playoff Semifinals have been conducted, the national championship game in Indianapolis may be rescheduled to no later than Friday, January 14. If one team is able to play and the other is not and the game cannot be rescheduled or is rescheduled and cannot be played, then the team unable to play shall forfeit the game and the other team shall be declared CFP National Champion. If both teams are unable to play on either an original or rescheduled date, then the game shall be declared "no contest" and the CFP National Championship shall be vacated for this season.
I’m remember when bowl gifts and “travel reimbursement money” were enough incentive to play in bowl games and players were excited to play old.

Oh its millions of dollars. Look at the salary for some of the bowl organizers/CEOs. I'd have to imagine the ncaa will get some pressure to change something before that stream dries up

Been saying since we found out about omicron people are going to absolutely freak out over this because it's going to explode everywhere. It's not nearly as dangerous but it is 70 times more contagious than the Delta variant was. People are going to freak out because people have been freaking out ridiculously since covid started. This is just going to make it worse. The good news is the virus is far less severe than any other variant. It's a lot more like a cold. But in the meantime everyone needs to hold on because everything is going to go bananas over the next 30 to 45 days.

Yes but morons are still testing like they think that's important and people are going to flip because that's what people do these days. It's basically a severe cold that can metastasize into an infection which is the same as any other cold or flu. But people are going to freak out. Really we shouldn't be doing any testing anymore because this is going to put an end to the pandemic and allow us to move on with our lives. I'd love for someone with omicron to lick me so I can get it over with.

As a covid survivor- I can honestly say it's not that bad. I'm middle aged and out of shape for reference
It’s hard to dismiss the virus when so many have died. But it’s silly that we are testing asymptomatic, vaccinated athletes without cause.
If a player is sick with symptoms, test them and any close contacts. But if everyone is fine, testing for the sake of testing is stupid. The point of the vaccine is to prevent severe illness or death, and it’s doing that with overwhelming efficacy.

Same here. Unfortunately, we all are going to die of something. The avg age of death from Covid is above the avg lifespan. 80 year olds die everyday. Insanity has to stop.

There's no point in doing even this now. This variant is around 150 times more contagious than the original virus. Everyone is getting this. There's no escape and by the time we suspect someone has it, they've already spread it to everyone they've been around. Testing is moronic!
I’m ok with eliminating roughly half the games. 8-4 needs to be the barometer. 6-6 is a joke really. Stay home and practice if you want.
I’m a more football is better than no football guy but there’s too much nobody gives a sh** from players to fans at some of these locations. And this has been going on for 10-15 years anyway.
Give me top 40 or 20 games. If teams don’t want to play, fine. Go to the next team. Once you commit, you are committed. You can bail up to 10 days out or you are financially fully obligated to repay the bowl. This isn’t a hard fix. Just takes some balls to do and serve college football for all.

These games have big economic impact in the local communities as well. Restaurants, bars, hotels, gas stations, etc. ..lots of people get hurt when these games are canceled
