I have been coaching high school football for 48 years. Every year things come into focus for me and I get a realization of how successful a team will be. I have been watching Clemson football for almost 65 years and have seldom been able to come to that realization. Last season, after a game or 2 I saw that this team is just a good team....not a great one. My picture of this year's team has not yet come into complete focus, but I do know that it will be a good team at best, not a great one. It just has that feel....possibly average team at best.
