I am for both investing in energy production in the U.S. (especially nuclear, gas is fine, oil as needed) and considering alternative sources of energy over time (don’t punish customers like Germany did). But this dependency on countries with horrible track records of human rights violations that somehow won the energy jackpot because their dunes sit on top of oil fields has bothered me for decades….

So the President of the United States actively sought a foreign government's help for political gain? in addition, he threatened to 'reevaluate our relationship" with the country. Like perhaps, withhold weapons sales?
