This demented old codger doesnt even half know what hes doing. His radical left handlers are filling out all these orders and hes just signing them without even knowing whats on it. This is a byproduct of the stolen election and putting bolsheviks in control. They are trying to turn men into women and women into men....crazy.

Biden's politically correct assault on girls sports

President Biden has signed an executive order forcing schools that accept public funding to allow biological boys to compete in girls sports. His Department of Education is also expected to flip sides on two transgender sports battles: defending Connecticut’s law, which has the same effect, and fighting against Idaho’s law, which would preserve the integrity of girls sports.
Biden's action is a repudiation of science, an eradication of equal opportunities for female athletes, and a contradiction to basic common sense.
The biological reality of gendered sports is clear to anyone who watches. The occasion for the lawsuit against Connecticut is that two biological men were dominating women’s track championships and breaking women’s records. In soccer, the world champion U.S. Women’s National Team was soundly defeated, 5-2, in a scrimmage against the under-15 boys' squad for a middling Major League Soccer franchise. And you are likely to see more slam dunks in an average boys' high school basketball game than in any given game of the WNBA.
According to World Rugby, athletes who have undergone male puberty are, on average, “stronger by 25%-50%, are 30% more powerful, 40% heavier, and about 15% faster” than their female counterparts. The science on testosterone and muscle mass has been clear as well. Male athletes have a biological advantage over girls, no matter how they identify. Biden might as well sign an order allowing high school athletes to compete in the same leagues as seventh and eighth graders.
Sports are supposed to be a formative experience for high school athletes in which friendly competition encourages them to work harder. It’s where they learn the value of teamwork and coaching, even in individual sports. But that experience will be ruined for girls across the country whenever they line up on the field or on the track, knowing they face a biological disadvantage against a male athlete that no amount of practice or expertise can overcome.
This isn’t just a matter of fairness. Each transgender athlete takes a spot on a team, or a spot in competition, away from a female athlete. A biological male winning a women’s track championship not only deprives a woman athlete of the experience of victory but also fills a valuable placement that could affect scholarship offers to biological females.
This anti-woman policy is being propounded in the name of a politically correct gender ideology that rejects basic biological facts about men and women in the name of “tolerance.” This gender ideology now demands the submission of all who question it, under penalty of lawfare and personal cancellation. As groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union try to bludgeon states into relenting to this unscientific activist push, Biden is turning his back on female athletes, leaving them to fend for themselves.
Girls deserve a fair and equal playing field in sports. They deserve an opportunity to compete at the highest level and to win or lose based on their own abilities. Wielding the power of the presidency, Biden has denied them this.

I hesitate to agree with any of these articles from extreme right-wing sources (or OP), but here goes.

I'm not a fan of this. Male and female bodies have inherently different capabilities, athletics wise. It's not fair to the true female athlete to have to compete against someone else whose body is engineered in a fundamentally different way, regardless of their personal gender identity.

I support anyone's right to live their life how they want to live it. But this is a situation wehere trying to make everything "fair" can have the opposite effect.

Yea, I think most of you have found me to be reasonable and somewhat moderate. But the trans stuff is an example of a fringe element of one party pushing policy that alienates a significant chunk of another.

I am all for inclusion and empathy. But boys playing girls sports is dumb. It just is. So is having to proactively neuter pronouns or words that reference gender (ex. the new House rules on the subject).

Let's educate, include and accept. Let's also carry on with some basic logic and societal norms.

You can be reasonable and undereducated. With more education you will overcome your current thinking and will accept this as normal.

I have to say that I'm in agreement here. I don't have a problem with folks that want to transition, but it's just a fact that as a general rule, men are stronger and faster than women. So someone that's spent puberty under the influence of testosterone is going to have an advantage over someone who hasn't. So having bigger strong faster athletes competing in the women's group is just flat out unfair.

I played HS basketball. And I wasn't very good. BUT, I could kick the ass of every single women's basketball player we had... and it wasn't close. No doubt there were women out there that could have kicked my ass, but if I were female and played at the same level I did in HS as a guy. I would have gotten offers from colleges. No doubt.
