When the playoff system began one of the main talking points was not allowing the cupcake schedules to benefit the teams and their opportunity to have an easy route to the playoffs.
With that being said everyone pretty much agrees that OSU has a great team. However the schedule is absolute garbage along with mostly all the teams they play have garbage schedules. Michigan State and maybe Wiskey are the only two teams that challenged themselves with a high ranked out of conference match up (for BIG teams with a chance).
It seems like OSU has hit the jack pot of winning last year and following that up with a cake walk to the playoffs. Could they possibly get left out if 4 other teams have a thoroughly battle tested schedule with 1 or less losses?
The BiG is trash with its scheduling and really only has two good teams (OSU/MSU and maybe Wisconsin)
I would love for the committee to set the precedent like they went on and on about of either schedule a legit schedule or you will get left out.
