As much as I wish they both could play immediately, landing Marquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell is huge for the future of Clemson Basketball. We were not in a position to gamble on a 2015 HS kid, this is a much better insurance policy for strong guard play in the future.
The fact that both have had success at the D1 level, are looking to raise the level of competition and exposure the ACC brings, speaks volumes to the confidence they are bringing to the team.
I like the fact that our eligible guards will be going against these 2 every day to get ready for the 2015-2016 season. By the time we debut the new and improved Littlejohn, We will be a deep and experienced team.
