This may sound stupid but since Clemson is in the first round of the CFP, I guess they won’t get a chance for a “bowl game” unless they beat Texas and make the Chic fil a bowl in Atlanta vs ASU. I assume they will get CFP swag but no bowl gifts. That right?
As a former manager, back in the day, I loved the bowl experience. We would head down to the bowl site immediately after exams. For the citrus bowl, we stayed at sawgrass in Jacksonville for a week then off to Orlando the week of the bowl game. There were team events at each location and the swag that came with it. Swag is definitely better now than it was then. Sweatsuit, T-shirts, watches and a few other trinkets with bowl logo but was always cool to get.
