If we must keep the neutral site bowl game venues in the playoff rotation, why not make the first round games bowl games?
The second round games (seeds 1-4) will be rewarded with home games.
Simple tweak to the system that rewards the teams and their communities for finishing as a Top 4 seed. Preference would be for playoff games to be home field (similar to NFL) throughout, but I know bowl sponsors pay the bills, so this seems like the next best thing. Thoughts?
