Said that the team didn’t have many “vocal leaders”. He included Chase and Ian in that assessment.

He mentioned a few “new guys” that could develop into those types of leaders. One of them he mentioned was Lakhin.

What we saw on Saturday night was Lakhin becoming the alpha/vocal/outspoken leader of the team. He demanded the ball. He invited guys into the lane.

You love to see it. Having a vocal leader being willing to yell for the ball when scoring is needed is huge…even if it’s in Russian.
