With the two transfers, our team/program just got substantially stronger. Not only will 2016-17 probably be our best team under Brad (and comparable to the best teams under OP), but I think these signings help us immediately.
Holmes, Hudson, Devoe, Ajukwa, and Roper will now go against some top level kids in practice every day. Kids who have played and played well. Kids who can score and do things with the basketball that we have been missing badly. That play will rub off. That competition will drive them and make them better.
Now, we need to go sell the next class HARD. We need to get Jenkins in the boat and then find two bigs. With the guards they will now get to come play with, it just became an easier sell. We have a new building with new "stuff". We have an entire new rotation of guards. We have two rising stars in Grantham and Bgame. And we have a decent stable of big bodies down low (Nnoko will be gone, but we still have Djitte and Legend coming in).
I know some here will never admit it... but the future looks bright for Tiger hoops.
