Braves are 1 game away from a championship and CNN publishes this…

Jesus. When will it ever end.

Not as long as the Democrats own 90% of the media and 99% of social media.
I don’t know if CNN has ventured to downtown Atlanta recently, because it’s not safe. Crime is rampant, that probably had a lot to do with the move.
However this is the same old stick CNN, CNBC continue to put out. The same old tired lie about disenfranchising someone, because you ask them to show an idea. What a joke!

If I remember correctly, there was an old article that looked at sports fan bases and politics. Baseball is more conservative than most other team sports.

Behind golf and racing, similar to hockey. More right than football. Basketball, soccer, tennis, fan base majorities are more liberal.

The article emphasizes that there is an issue of decreasing African American participation in baseball in general, not specific to Atlanta. Reasons given were more scholarships in football and basketball and the cost of youth participation. It mentioned that the non Hispanic black MLB percentage peaked at 18.1% in the 1980s. It is now 7%.
The last half of this column was better and more fair than the first.

People who are always focused on what color people are and how many of each we have are holding the country back. They can all go to hell as far as I am concerned. They use this to stir up outrage and keep power over everything. People need to stop playing their game and tell them to go fly a kite. Life will be so much better when that happens. Anyone who wants can buy tickets to the baseball games. It's the most affordable sport to go to and whether or not black people choose to attend the games is really up to them.

Point to CNN all you want, but Fox is exactly the same. If you can’t see that, you’re part of a growing problem where politics are becoming like religion and our democracy becomes weakened where infighting grows to a point where scoring political points is easier and more beneficial than governing.

Kaseem Reed (D) unloaded city money for Mercedes and the Falcons. There was not an option for Braves to stay in town unless they stayed at Turner.

To their credit…. Moths to the 🔥.
MSM knows the recipe and knows they can attract the public around the brightest bug zapping light.

People…. With actual free will firing neurons. My avatar is not a joke. Think about the USA, first. Not a party.
The I give a shit about the USA and enforcing and strengthening the living breathing Constitution and go fvck political parties party.

Black culture hasn’t embraced baseball for some time. Timeline matches up with NBA games being on TV and not on tape delay. Same timeline shows decline in MLB ratings. No one needs to be offended by any of it. It was a culture shift, move on.

It’s still surprising how so incredibly out of touch with reality corporate media is. American society would be so better off if these outlets had some sort of Great Depression. Sometimes downsizing, layoffs, restructuring, etc… are the only way to survival.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Makes no sense.

The ones that scream “but but FoxN is just as bad” are 🙄. The only reason FoxN is so successful and even exists is because 95% of corporate media outlets available through traditional means, are selling a leftist narrative. Like the vast majority of Americans don’t care or aren’t offended by sports teams cheers or names. So force feeding a false narrative helps create the “monster” that FoxN is. Personally FoxN can be just as aggravating. I can’t stand how they (90% of their opinion people) carry the establishment Republican water. Journalism is mostly dead on these mediums. Find ones you trust and ignore the rest.

For anyone that actually lives in Atlanta and understands the dynamics/history of it, this article does pretty much hit on a lot of things correctly.

I went to game 3 and there were countless "Lets go Brandon" signs and chants.

Weirdly I don't recall Trump being at the Hawks ECF games. I wonder why...

You were right that fox is outrage media. There is no question about that. But I would ask you what that has to do with this post? CNN flat out lies and stirs up division in every way you can possibly imagine. It's an awful network with some really horrible people appearing on at nightly. While Fox has a lot of hacks and outrage personalities, I can't say that I've seen them often just blatantly lying. They do a lot of half truths to stir things up though and that's for sure. My disclaimer here is I don't pay a whole lot of attention to Fox.

For example they went after Psaki over the treadmill comment and they didn't give it proper context. They never told people that she was responding to a question she was asked about the treadmill. They just left people to believe that she came up with that on her own which is just wrong and designed to make people angry.

The best advice I can give people is don't consume any of this crap. It's all awful and it's not productive for us as a people. Until we decide we want nothing but the facts this will continue.

I don't know what people want. I was so ashamed of my whiteness that I wore blackface, and people were offended by that too. What do you want me to do, Ron?

The only way to control a large population is to divide and conquer. Divide by race religion sex politics and now health (vax) etc etc etc and create narratives that stir division fear and controversy among the different groups. Then use this atmosphere to introduce your solution or mask your transgression. Sometimes it is taken to the absurdity level as seen in one recent Cal political race where people on MSM were heard calling one candidate a "black white supremist". It will continue right on until people wake up and realize what is happening and there are no signs this is happening anytime soon.
