Could you compare Blanks and Wiggins as far as their skill set, size, speed/quickness, ability, etc? I remember when both of them were being recruited and it seemed like at the time Blanks was a huge get. He was a 4 star out of Florida that was very highly recruited. IIRC, he might have been one of the top recruits in our class that year. Wiggins was a 3 star out of NC whom we beat UNC to get on NSD. Maybe because we beat UNC for him, but it didn't seem like a huge deal when Wiggins flipped to Clemson. Blanks started as a true freshman and then got hurt. I remember him having a great game against LSU in the bowl game and got a big interception when LSU was driving. Wiggins also started as a true freshman since Blanks got hurt and has done well since. It seems as if once Wiggins got moved into the starting role, Blanks couldn't get it back. Was that because of the lingering effects of the injury or Wiggins is just a better player. Who is better suited for their position?
