the class/seminar/whatever is going to be held that is going to teach me how to use this new stuff.
I had a computer when most kids my age didn't even know how to spell computer. I grew up putting 2 (not 1) spaces after a period in all my sentences. I used THREAD VIEW and then THREAD/HYBRID when that became available. I wrote my own programs in BASIC. Those were the good ole days.
This computer/phone stuff seems to change almost daily, and it seems to me that the only way to keep up with everything, is to keep up with it daily. I just don't have that kind of time. Not to mention adding "AVATARS, EMODICONS, SIGNATURES, ETC".
All this stuff is great if you know how to use it. I'll give you an example. Recently spent $500 on a new surveillance system for my home. System installed.....cameras work great. This system comes with the ability to remote view via phone. Problem is, it comes with a setup disk/instructions that was made when cell phones were in a bag. Then you have software/firmware updates. Then you are looking at who is your IP provider and what type of router do you have. Nothing ever seems to match because THEY (IP provider, routers change, system upgrades) are always changing.
PRETTY MUCH DONE UNTIL I GET THE CLASS!!!
