I got on this board twice last week and said Ga Tech would beat ND. Man was I wrong.
I watched ND struggle with Va and based conclusions on that game. ND is much more formidable than I gave them credit for. Perhaps I over estimated Tech after the Orange Bowl win and the fact that they brought back their best QB in PJ's tenure. Hope ND looks more like the Va game when we play them.
I intimated yesterday that Ga would have to run the ball yesterday because they couldn't pass it. Wrong there too. Their QB looked great last night and I enjoyed every minute of the slaughter in Athens.
Now on to other subjects. For those of you venomous towards Ole Miss. I'm with you there. Their recruitment has been dishonest to the core. That said, those who were venting against Nkemdiche and Kelly last night I think are way off base. Nkemdiche wanted to come to Clemson and his mother would not sign the papers. Kid had no choice - and yes his mother may well be rich now but that isn't his fault.
As for Kelly - WE kicked him off the team not the other way around. I wish him nothing but success and hope he grows up.
