Went to the baseball game this past Friday and got a good chance to walk around campus beforehand for a bit. I’ve been around Clemson for years and I am an alumni, and I am still amazed how beautiful our campus really is. I graduated in 2022, and the layout of campus has already changed so much. The development on Perimeter Rd shocked me (in a good way). The new Wellness Center is awesome looking. I’m happy to see all the changes and upgrades coming to the campus as a whole, but it also sad seeing the change from the old to the new. What is the student population now at Clemson? I want to say when I graduated it was around 25,000, but I have a feeling it is probably teetering more towards 30k now. These new developments should help the influx of student enrollment, but the city of Clemson is still a small area. Tiger Blvd during the afternoon is almost becoming worse than Woodruff Rd. I can only imagine what Clemson will look like in 5 more years.
What does everyone else think? What are your favorite improvements and/or what part of campus do you wish would stay the same?
