Funding athletic scholarships is #1 priority for IPTAY. I dont know how many scholarships that is but say 400 x $30,000 is $12M. Where does the excess go?
Some competing minds, IPTAY & 110 Society, need to sit down together and figure this out or donations to each will decline greatly for both. IPTAY needs to realize that their best interest, as well as the university as a whole, is for this football program to be elite. If the pool of money stays relatively the same, IPTAY needs to be willing to take a 20% haircut and tell its donors to give that 20% to 110 and your seats/parking will stay the same. IPTAY takes a haircut in the short-term
knowing the return to elite status will be what has their coffers overflowing again as the product on the field improves.
Clemson has elite facilities today and building new is not a necessity in the short-term, winning is. Get back to building after return to a national player and all else takes care of itself.
