Posted in another thread, but will post here as well... I have serious reservation in expecting full capacity in the Fall given the terribly slow roll out of the vaccine... This isn't meant to be political, nor an endorsement of anything... Simply stating my opinion that we're going to need a seriously aggressive uptick in vaccination between now and the Fall to have a full return to "normal"...
In basically a month (Phizer received approval for EUA on Dec. 11th) we've managed to vaccinate roughly 9 million... We're going to need to approach the 1 million+/daily range... It's going to take Biden fulfilling his promise of "100 vaccinated in 100 days" for me to feel more optimistic. Definitely looking forward to packed stadiums for sure!

I was happy for football this fall, but ... there was always the thought in the back of my head that the season had a significant *asterisks* too it.
That first game between BYU and Navy was one of the oddest things I have ever seen on television.
I pray we are able to pack out stadiums this fall ... Im not optimistic though. I DO NOT mean for this to be political, but the roll out of the vaccine has been botched, and the new administration will need to scramble to catch up.
Also, I thin the vaccines have only been tested on their immune response, what is unknown is the vaccines ability to prevent spreading it.
I think we will still see capacity limitations and we will absolutely have mask mandates through Q1 of 2022 at least.

Yeah, I am skeptical that we return to normal by the fall too. It’s just going to take much longer than most think. Now, I feel we need to & should get back to normal well before that. SMH. It’s a frustrating time, for certain.

Hey sport, I wouldn’t take your word that all the libs on this board criticized the insurrection riots this past summer (I’m sure they probably didn’t, they probably called them social justice demonstrations) and honestly I could care less if they did.
The bigger point is how there is a double standard within the liberal media and the Democratic party and how they have reacted to the two different ‘insurrections’. During the Minneapolis riots Kamala Harris set up a go fund me to bail out the terrorists burning down Minneapolis. Our new VP! Wow. She also said this summer that the rioters wouldn’t stop and they shouldn’t stop. Wow, and Trump told the protesters to go to the Capitol and protest peacefully, and he’s the one they’re trying to impeach for inciting a riot. Evil is being called good and good evil in this country now. But because the liberal media says it then it must be the gospel truth.

You must sympathize with the insurrection riots this summer that caused billions of dollars in property damage to businesses and cities. But seeing how the Democratic Party has been hijacked by these radical, leftist, Marxists’ groups, and the liberal media is just their propaganda mouthpiece... you find it hard to believe that conservatives in this country entertain the thoughts that this election was stolen when there were thousands of signed affidavits of people reporting irregularities? All I’ve heard for a week is how such and such is a ‘threat to our democracy’. Lol There is no bigger threat to our democracy than rigged or fraudulent elections. Period.

As many of us have stated, Nobody mainstream on the left is in favor of violence and destruction if public or private property. I believe strongly that even if you have a legitimate cause to be upset, when you resort to destruction and violence you lose any moral high ground that you had.
Now to address the Election. There was no fraud. There have been over 60 court cases that have been lost by the Trump campaign,or people filing for them. An affidavit doesn't mean anything unless you swear it in court. Interestingly no lawyer has tried to claim Fraud in court because they realize that they can be charged with perjury. Newsmax and OAN really quickly shut the hell up talking about Dominion when they were told to cease and desist because they knew they would get sued for Millions and Lose. You know why all those things happened? BECAUSE THERE WAS NO FRAUD! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, TRUMP LOST! SAY IT WITH ME...TRUMP LOST!
