I've been wondering of late if there is ever a point in some of the powerhouse programs where kids just stop wanting to go there because they can't play?
Here's the reason why I ask: a guy that worked for me had a nephew who was a 4-star receiver in Cincinnati. He got lulled in by Saban at Alabama and after 2 years has yet to see any action. I mean not even on cleanup duty.
Which leads me to my point. In areas where we have a bunch of studs (WR, DL, etc) do some upper tier kids eventually become disinterested in us because they may never see the field no matter how good they are? Or because we are successful, kids want to be a part of it no matter what?
