So I get these waves of memories from time to time that just make me stop, and say, wow, did that really happen? It's not just football, it happens in my personal and professional life as well. Almost like I go on an acid trip for a few minutes or something. Can't explain it.
Today it happened when out of the blue i started thinking about the week of the scar game this past November. So much going on. Everyone thought we were toast with dw4 going down against gt 2 weeks prior, but there was a ray of hope he could somehow play against the cacks. Cris and kornblut riding on the elevator with dw4 and saying he looked ready to go. Then, @dustinw comes here with some bad news about dw4 going down in practice while doing cutting drills. Board goes ape crap, and almost shuts down the internet. Then, rumors of Chad Morris and smu start swirling and again, board flips keyboards like we're in Ferguson.
Finally, gameday comes and dw4 goes in and out of the game, limping around like he's a freaking pirate. He proceeds to lay the smack down on scar and all is back to normal in the state. Then, Dabo, tells us he played the entire game with a torn acl. A TORN ACL! A TORN Finger Licking ACL!
