So, I’ll give you a real life example of why this is bs. My father in law was a great guy. Last yea, he suffered from a urinary tract infection which caused severe dehydration. He became lethargic and incoherent. He was admitted to the hospital And treated for severe dehydration. Protocol is for him to stay overnight. It would be mandatory because of his age (early 80s). However, he was sent home because there were no beds available due to Covid. They tried to find a bed in another hospital, but that hospital was also full. During the night he tried to go to the restroom and fell, hitting his head. He died about 48 hours later. His death was non-Covid.

I’m sorry to hear about your FIL and hope you guys are doing better but this horrible situation doesn’t prove that overstating COVID deaths is BS.

That’s impossible. The media would tell us if that were the case.

Same thing basically happened to my 84 year old MIL in January. Fell at night, hit her head, went into comma and passed several days later. Doctor said, "Well COVID probably made her weak and caused the fall." She never tested positive for COVID. My MIL was maybe 80 pounds soaking wet. She was very frail and had a number of health conditions. Her body was tired and sadly, it was time. COVID had nothing to do with it.
