Can anybody else believe Chad Smith didn't avoid a redshirt? Especially given our putrid depth numbers at the two inside backer positions. Has anyone heard the reasons why? He seemed poised to play physically at 6'2ish 230lbs. Maybe he was just that raw or couldn't pick up the playbook. Although he was an early enrollee.
