I'm sure i can't be the only one, but i can't help but get concerned about what happens to our team should the unspeakable happen....a prolonged or season ending injury to Deshaun. Knowing what you know about the QB position, in terms of talent and the pecking order on the depth chart as it stands today, do you see a scenario where Clemson could realistically expect to win more than 6 or 7 games should Deshaun get hurt early on this season?
By nature i am not to a pessimist, but i'm worried what will happen with this team should he get hurt again. Certainly we would be in better shape now than we were last year with Stoudt, simply based on the QB talent currently on the roster, but with a defense that many folks expect to take a step back in some degree, coupled with a much more difficult schedule, i find it hard to believe we could still win 10 games if Watson isn't our primary signal caller all season.
What say you guys?
