With the addition last night of Tre Lamar, Clemson has netted some pretty high profile guys now in Lamar, Rahshaun Smith, Jamie Shalaski, ex players Tony Steward, Stephone Anthony, Leroy Hill, Anthony Waters, and maybe to a lesser degree John Leake who was highly productive and Spencer Suey who I personally loved.
My question is, is Anthony Simmons still in your eyes the Gold Standard when it comes to linebackers that have played at CU over the last 20-25 years. The game has changed to a certain degree since he was here so I suspect that might have to be taken into account, but also remember how high you were on Stephone Anthony from the get go but it took him two years to settle into his position. And I realize he played one year for Kevin Steele and then 3 for Venables, so maybe that played a role in Stephone's progress. Thanks and have a great Saturday.
