Clemson is tied for 3rd in their regional after the 1st day.
Is it the top 3 or 6 teams from each regional that goes to the National tournament?
I see USC is in 6th place in their regional.
What gets me is when I click showing the top 25 teams Clemson isn't even ranked in the top 25 and USC is ranked 6th with 5 event wins this year. As I read down it looks like Clemson is ranked 36th nationally in golf. What has happen to our men's golf team.
I would love to see just one of our minor spring sport teams do well. It seems outside of football that most of our teams are falling down from where they once were. Maybe the women tennis is doing ok but that's about it. Clemson use to have some of the top golf, soccer and baseball teams not so right now.
Maybe they can hang in there and make the Nationals and see what they can do there.
