The family is in Athens Greece this week. We are taking a tour of the Acropolis. We introduce ourselves to a Canadian family. The father asks where we are from and I reply South Carolina in the US. He says: Ah, the tigers. I look at him not understanding. Note: I’m wearing no college gear at all. He says: Are you a fan of Clemson? I reply Of Course and notice his Notre Dame cap. We talk football foe a while. Just thought it was curious that a Canadian ND fan associates the state of SC with Clemson. Maybe we are a blue blood now. Sorry for the ramble - waiting patiently for a Thursday Insider seven time zones away.
