Sure man... I'm personally pretty soft on immigration. This country was literally BUILT by people from other countries fleeing their homelands in search of a better life. These folks come over and take jobs that no one else wants. They work their asses off and their children go on to do great things for this country.

And there've always been folks like you that view them as sub human criminals. Two hundred years ago, you've have been crying, pissing and moaning about those dirty Irish. A hundred fifty years ago you've have been holding a sign telling the WOPs (Italians and Germans) to get out. Ditto for the waves of Chinese and Japanese that showed up on our shores in the late 1800s/early 1900s.

We are a country of immigrants... Hell, it's engraved on the base of the Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

Immigrants aren't criminals by and large... FBI numbers show this without a doubt. A US citizen is FAR more likely to break the law than an Immigrant. They aren't drug smugglers. Around 90% of the illegal drugs smuggled into the US come from ports of entry, NOT on the backs of folks sneaking across the border.

There's a labor shortage in the US. I say put these folks to work. Give them jobs and let them work their asses off to better themselves. If they can't do that, deport them. If they do, give them US citizenship and welcome them to the family.
