I was curious as to your opinions on some questions.
1. I've watched some replays, but I'm not necessarily an X's and O's guy. I'm curious as to why we didn't run our jet sweeps with Scott or Ray Ray Thursday night. IIRC, we only ran 1 jet sweep to Scott and it went for 8 yards or so. This was our bread and butter play toward the end of the season last year. Was Louisville doing something defensively to take that away?
2. I don't recall any bad snaps, but how did Guierlmo (sp?) play? I know he had a tough assignment with UL's defensive line, but I was impressed that we didn't have any snap issues since we struggled so bad with them against App.
3. If you were in charge of Special Teams Kick Offs, would you just go ahead and do a high pooch kick and concede the 30 yard line or so? Maybe I'm over reacting, but everyone of our opponents this year has had at least 1 return that went past mid-field. Our defense is good enough to make stops so I would just rather get the defense out there even if it's at the 30 or 35 yd line.
