Cris,
I enjoyed reading your comments on leadership in the thread from over the weekend, and had a question.
To me, it seems that we place a ton of emphasis on recruiting kids with good character, and those kids often times end up being good leaders/hard workers. If we are recruiting the right kind of kids who want to do the right thing, then shouldn't that lead to us having great leadership on the team? Maybe the coaches just need to give them a push in the right direction, but it seems guys like Boulware and Alexander would have the respect of the team and would make sure we have good participation in offseason workouts. Honestly, I think Boulware and Alexander seem like two of the most competitive guys we have had in a long time, and if their personality rubs off on the rest of the defense, then I think we will be fine. Thoughts?
