Two total clowns unnecessarily injecting themselves into this and riling people up for political points. Will only likely cause more crimes and possible deaths. So reckless and irresponsible of these “leaders.”

There's a lot of that going around and had it gone the other way, it would have been GOP leaders doing this kind of stuff. We have got to get away from politicizing everything in this country and doing so on the basis of things that just aren't true. We paint false realities for people and every one of them undermines the integrity of our Republic. The media has gone above and beyond (and still is doing it) to make this a racial matter and constantly reporting things that are just flat out false. It's the kind of thing you would expect to see in China. The FCC should take them off the air for knowingly reporting falsehoods to create public discourse. They should all be sued out of existence for libel and slander. It's so imperative that we must stop this and recognize the tremendous damage we are doing to our country.

The two high profile trials this week were simple in many ways.

Would Arbery be alive today if not for these men? Yes, he would.
Did he do anything that warranted his death? No, he didn't.
Did he instigate what happened? No, he didn't.
Was he armed? No, he wasn't (I don't believe) If he was, he didn't draw a weapon.
Did he pose a threat to anyone? No, he didnt.

Would Rittenhouse be alive today if he didn't take the action he did? Seems likely he would not be but in either case, he would have been in great peril
Did he instigate this? That has been demonstrated to be a solid no. It's clear by the footage he didn't.
Did he seek to hurt people prior to defending himself? That also is quite clear he didn't.
Was he an idiot for being there to begin with? Yes, but that isn't a crime. Almost everyone out that night shouldn't have been there.

These are legal matters and not something or political leaders need to wade into. They ALL need to be told to sit down and shut the hell up. They all benefit so tremendously from the outrage culture they have created. It's tearing our country apart piece by piece.

Why cant the media and high profile people realize that each case is completely different.

the KR case was clearly self defense. By the actual facts and videos. And I am actually amazed that so many continue to push lies about the case for their agenda. Not surprised. But amazed.

but my favorite agenda is the white supremecist and racist angles on this one.

along with calling three that were shot heroes.

How many people have had to be corrected that the three shot were white and not black. But then say. Well that doesnt matter.

In a country that's more focused on watching "Dancing With The Stars" than it is understanding the fundamental tenants of our Constitution and legal code, it does not surprising. The power of public schooling is on full display. Charges of racism sell and people are so lacking of courage in the face of those types of statements that they don't even bother to understand what's going on.

This isn’t a bipartisan issue. Bad actors on both sides, but let’s not act like Repubs are just as guilty. In fact, I’m not even sure why you’re trying to implicate R’s in this. They’ve learned to be partisan by default due to the full offensive onslaught from the left, but let’s not act like the right is the problem

I’ve seen so many conservatives try to tow this line for a few years now. It’s a bullshit attempt to try to seem logical and level-headed so you aren’t labeled conspiracy theorist or racist or whatever. Just stop the charade. The left is full of whackos, we have a few idiots. It’s not 50/50

This is a laughable assessment of the state of affairs, and if you think the right only has "a few idiots", you might be one of them.

Of course it's 50/50. Because there are stupid people everywhere.

Interesting take from Dalio here.......

I cannot see that happening at all related to a literal war. I could see some economic and litigious wars between liberal and conservative run states.
