I sat about 10 rows behind the defense, so this is my perspective about only the defense
To say there are no Mackenzie Alexander’s or Shaq Lawson’s, or any personalities anywhere remotely close, is understating it
We got a bunch of, saying it nicely, “softies”
0 and 54 and other “leaders” had zero fire, even when we direly needed it in the second half. “Leaders” with hands on shoulder pads in the 3rd quarter, or standing off by themselves. To his credit tho, Big Ruke was yelling at people.
Was there drama with Nate Wiggins? What was going on there?
I am telling you the vibes on this defense were OFF
Watching Wes G up close interact with his guys… 😲😦😧 Hands were shaking and he was trembling as he almost maniacally flipped through a little booklet he had (was smaller than legal pad, bigger than sticky notes)
Not our only issue tonight just my perspective. Goodwin is NOT a “foxhole” guy. Seemed panic-ridden and it trickled down plain as day. I thought he was moving to the coaching box? Not an on-field coach. He’s just not
Yes, we scored 7 points offensively. But my own two eyes told me something is incredibly off with this defense
Also TJ Parker needs to play more imo
