4th quarter showed that we are two linebackers and two defensive ends short on the depth chart. Lawson, Dodd, Goodson and Boulware played their butts off but they clearly needed a blow or two during the game. I think I saw Bryant come in @ DE for a play or two but that was it. Our guys were gassed in the 4th quarter due to lack of substitutes. Where are Williams and Joseph at Lb ? Maybe Register will be able to play @ DE this week? What about Huggins? Never one to criticize Venables but I am hoping some guys gain his confidence in practice quickly so that we can be stronger into the 4th quarter. We are going to need that depth soon. Also, would be nice to have Reader back on the field too!
